Bowser Box Art
Last Updated: November 16th, 2008
The following is an assortment of box art images that Bowser has appeared on. This would be the art that is done for the game's
packaging, which usually comes in a box or a case. High quality box art images of games are probably the hardest to get, since they
usually aren't included in a game's image or screenshot gallery on an online publication. Whenever there is an image of the game's
box art, it is usually very small and low resolution. Also the older the game is, the harder it is to find any decent pictures of
it's packaging.
Usually high quality box art scans have to be done yourself if you can't find a good one on the net. Of course you would have to
have the game in your possession to do that. I have had to do this quite a numerous amount of times after not being able to find a
high enough resolution box shot. That really is no problem though, since I pretty much own every Mario game that Bowser is in. I also
would have the ability to control just how high resolution I want the image to be when scanning it myself.
These game box art shots are all copyright © of Nintendo, since they made the games. I do not claim any ownership of them. Please
do not watermark these box art images, it's dishonourable and ruins the originals. I would very much appreciate it if credit was given
back to The Bowser Shrine and/or supported by a link if you like the box art gallery here. Some of these box art shots I have scanned
myself, others I have found on search engine image searches and through fan submissions. A good place to find good quality box art
shots I have discovered recently would be GameSpot. Just do a search for a game and then click
on the small box art image and it will usually enlarge to a larger shot.
These box art images were created to support its respective Mario game and to serve as packaging or advertising to generate
interest in the game. The box art pictures listed are sorted in order of the respective Mario game release dates, from earliest to
latest. Of the box art images shown, Bowser appears either in the foreground or the background, or as part of a group. I have also
included box art pictures from other countries or regions that Bowser also appears in. In the title of the game under the image,
(JPN) or (PAL) attached to the end would be box art images from Japan or Europe respectfully. Also if (Cart) is attached to the end
of the game title, Bowser appears on the cartridge of the game, but not on the box art (e.g. Super Mario 64). If the border around a
box art is blue, that means that box art was the most recent submission from the last update. If you find any more box art that
Bowser has been featured on that is not listed here, or a higher resolution box art image, Contact me,
and I will credit you.
